Millicent was rescued for child slavery and she now dedicates her activism to this. Millicent leads the leadership campaign for children rescued from slavery in her constituency, in association with the Ghana’s Social Welfare Department. She delivered a speech on child trafficking and the fight for the rights of children who are exposed to danger and are at risk of being trafficked. Millicent has also dealt with issues concerning children who are at high risk of being sold into the labour market, by educating and sensitizing the public on the effects and threats of child labour.
