Mohona, an 18-year-old from Bangladesh, is a committed advocate for education and youth empowerment. Growing up in a community where poverty, child labor, and societal pressures limit children’s access to schooling, she was inspired at age 14 to teach working children basic literacy and life skills. Since then, she has dedicated herself to improving educational opportunities, participating in literacy projects, book drives, fundraising campaigns, and national debate competitions. Her initiatives, in collaboration with organizations such as the Grow Your Reader Foundation, Xaverian English Language Club, and Share the Privilege Foundation, aim to ensure that every child can learn and thrive in a supportive environment.

Mohona’s impact reaches both online and offline. Her English Language Festivals and literacy campaigns have engaged over 10,000 students, while social media outreach connects her with a global community of education advocates. Through fundraising and school supply drives, she has provided hundreds of underprivileged children with essential learning resources. By promoting critical thinking, leadership, and literacy skills, Mohona inspires students and communities alike to value education and work toward equitable access for all children.
