Nasirah is a spoken word poet and uses her poetry as a form of activism, which she likes to refer to as “artivism“. She has published a book that advocates for children’s rights in war torn countries and in third world countries in Africa. A percentage of her profits has gone towards funding the building of a therapy centre in the refugee camps in Lebanon. Nasirah also has her own youth-based organisation that she uses to advocate for both children’s and animal rights. She often donates to bigger youth organisations that are trustworthy, and she collaborates with them.
