Natalie is a fourteen-year-old girl from Nairobi, Kenya. She began writing at the age of five after going through heart surgery where she was attended by missionary doctors from the UK. Natalie’s motivation comes from her own journey. Having been born in an environment where she saw children suffer from lack of education, disease, female genital mutilation among others made her want to fight for them. Natalie has toured 40 countries to inform children about Children’s Rights. She is also a weekly columnist with Mt. Kenya Times.  

Natalie’s videos have had over one million views from all over the world and she was recognized by BBC Africa as a young achiever in 2019. Through her voice, the Female Wave of Change Kenyan Chapter began toll free numbers for victims of sexual abuse. Natalie’s work can be found on YouTube across different platforms
