Nazreen is an active adolescent volunteer for Apnalaya’s MNCHN programme. She leads a team of 14 children adolescents who have been trained in life skills and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR). She has given around 100 trainings on topics such as malnutrition, hygiene and SRHR in the past 6 years. She also counsels pregnant women in her area and makes sure they are registered in a hospital in the first trimester. Due to her training in Infant and Young Child Feeding, Nazreen also advices women in her area on what to feed their children. In the future, she wants to continue volunteering with Apnalaya. She eventually wants to pursue commerce but will not stop spreading awareness and changing the mindset of people.
