Nicole, 13, is a young changemaker who combines environmental advocacy with educational empowerment for students with special needs. Her journey began in 2020 after visiting a school for students with special needs in Brazil, inspiring her to create the “If You Can Dream” organization, enabling students worldwide to achieve their dreams. In 2023, she founded Innovation International to mentor K–12 students globally on STEM-based environmental solutions.
Supported by her parents and a network of global partners—including schools and organizations in Brazil, Ghana, the Philippines, Liberia, Saudi Arabia, and the USA—Nicole has implemented initiatives ranging from sustainable food production, aquaponics, and hydroponics, to wildfire and earthquake detection systems. She has mentored hundreds of students on climate protection, biodiversity, and sustainable innovation, providing both knowledge and resources, such as computers, tablets, and safety equipment for at-risk communities.
