At the age of 10, Nihal saw a documentary about batteries causing fires in landfills. This inspired him to found ‘Recycle My Battery’. Nihal went door-to-door to collect and safely dispose of these batteries. Nihal has now secured a partnership with Call2Recycle, the largest battery recycling organization in North America. He works with 200 other volunteers, and they have safely recycled over 175,000 batteries.
