Nshokano Maroy, a 15-year-old from Bukavu, DRC, is a passionate child rights activist who has been advocating for free primary education since 2017. Coming from a modest family, Pierre joined the LUCHA movement, participating in peaceful demonstrations and raising awareness about the fees imposed by the Catholic Church. His activism has gained national and international attention, including recognition from the Pope, and contributed to the establishment of free education in the DRC.
