Phuong volunteered to participate in a project (iThinkCamp) between YSEALI and the US embassy to promote middle school students to have more basic knowledge of English and as well as cultivate more experience in society. Moreover, every year, she and the school’s executive committee visit and encourage families with children of war invalids and martyrs or donate clothes for poor children in remote areas. In a similar vein, she volunteered to help with modeling and design a project in which the money received goes to children in need. In addition, Phuong created a play to condemn, protest and convey a message for people to stand up against racism. In total, she conveyed to more than 2000 students in the school the message against racism. Recently, she has also participated in a project called Rise. She created a quiz for youth to learn more about themselves in the face of pressure and violence, even within the family, along with advice.
