PraiseGod was born and raised in Nigeria. She has multiple hearing-impaired relatives. This caused her to learn sign language from a young age and she has turned this skill into activism. She is motived to bridge the communication gap between hearing-impaired and the rest of the community; her goal is to ensure that the hearing-impaired are completely integrated in the society. She volunteers at any organization in her community that needs her help. This includes TV programs, public gatherings and legislative sessions. She also organizes sign-language interpretation trainings to ensure more people can understand sign-language. Due to PraiseGod the local government has even introduced basic sign language into the basic education curriculum and as sign interpreters at every government function.
