Remember was rescued by Ghana’s Anti-Human Trafficking Department in February 2017 from a life of exploitation and slavery. Remember faced significant physical and mental abuse and he had no access to school or medical care. Remember has identified a passion for medicine, and he has worked diligently to sharpen both his mathematics and science skills. He is creating mentorship relationships with staff at the Touch A Life Care Center, seeking their guidance as he progresses through the Ghanaian education system and acquires skills that will empower him as he enters into adulthood. As a result of his actions, Remember has inspired many amongst his peers, both in school and at the Touch A Life Care Center, where he lives.
