Renato is a 14-year-old adolescent who, due to his involvement with the Council, has earned respect not only from his age group, but also from institutions and authorities. He is an active member of the Consultative Council of Girls, Boys and Adolescents at school.  Within the Cantonal Council, he has prioritized action in the promotion of the rights of children and adolescents through various workshops on human rights and gender violence, among others. In reference to the right to participation, he was a participant in the Trial of Democracy, as part of the Office of the Prosecutor, with the purpose of showing children how to make democracy. Together with law holders, he made a Commitment Manifesto addressed to candidates for the City Hall of Riobamba, in order to reach work agreements for the benefit of the entire intergenerational group.
