The death of their beloved grandpa to pulmonary fibrosis crumbled Rhea and Renee’s lives. They co-founded Wings of Hope at the age of 10 to educate youth about the dangers of vaping, smoking and drugs. They are advisors on Quora, bloggers on Medium and writers of teen magazines and have their own podcast about Wings of Hope. They wrote letters to governors of 50 states in the USA and 195 world leaders demanding them to ban flavoured e-cigarettes. As a result, 22 nations have banned them till today and New York was the first state to ban flavored e-cigarettes followed by 18 other states. The girls composed their own song ‘Break free from addictions’ and sang it at youth conferences of 10,000 youth to spread awareness. They have conducted anti-vaping awareness campaigns in 10.000 schools. They have also setup a 24/7/365 online Helpline to help vaping addicts. Due to their support system, 50% of vaping addicts have decided to quit. They plan to install vaping detecting devices in schools and colleges in Mozambique, Malawi and Burundi and introduce education about vaping in more countries.
