Sabrina, 17, from the United States, is transforming STEM education for children through her innovative initiative, Mind Tricks: The Magic of Neuroscience. Combining magic, humor, and hands-on activities, her shows make complex neuroscience topics engaging and accessible for young learners. Motivated by her own experiences of limited access to advanced science education, she founded Mind Tricks to provide immersive, high-quality learning experiences while fostering curiosity and community among children. Her work has grown internationally, with chapters in Hong Kong, India, China, Canada, Turkey, and across the U.S., reaching thousands of students through workshops, community events, and school programs.
Sabrina’s leadership extends beyond the stage: she has partnered with schools, libraries, and community centers, hosted webinars with researchers from Harvard Medical School and other institutions, and cultivated a team of youth leaders to expand the reach of her program. Online, her initiative has reached over 300,000 people, while offline workshops have directly engaged around 5,000 students. Additionally, her fundraising efforts have generated $16,000 for blood cancer research, demonstrating her commitment to education, advocacy, and social impact.
