Sahadip Pariyar, a 16-year-old from Nepal, has transformed his challenging past of abuse, poverty, and homelessness into a platform for advocating child protection and rights. As a volunteer and Child Advisor for Voice of Children (VOC), Sahadip empowers at-risk youth by sharing his personal journey and replacing harmful behaviors with positive habits. He is actively involved in child rights advocacy in Lalitpur Metropolitan City, serving as a Peer Educator at Bhidhyalaya Star Club and participating in the CLARISSA project to research child labor in the adult entertainment sector.
Sahadip also runs a VOC-operated radio program, educating the public about online child safety and advocating for children’s rights. His efforts impact 20-25 at-risk youth directly and amplify child protection messages across his community.
