Sainath & Sai Sahana watched the documentary “A Plastic Ocean” it showed how plastics have caused serious damage to the environment and to the marine environment. The documentary inspired Sainath and Sai Sahana to begin their own initiative to help the environment and preserving our earth’s resources. When they visited different cities and towns in their home country, they were shocked to see heaps of plastic and wastage being littered all over the places. They started to wonder if this was the status of one city, then if we consider all the countries in the world, what would be the amount of plastic wastes being littered. Sainath & Sai Sahana are involved in various associates with the main aim of raising awareness about single- use plastic pollution and encouraging individuals and organizations to reduce their CO2 emissions through simple everyday choices.
