Sara grew up deeply moved by the struggles of children living on the streets of Colombia—without stable homes, education, or the care of loving parents. These early encounters instilled in her both empathy and determination to fight for children’s rights, ensuring every child grows up in safety and dignity. With the full support of her parents and guidance from mentors at the M&M Foundation, Sara has developed into a committed advocate, leading with compassion and responsibility. Her work reflects not just a vision of change, but a genuine desire to offer vulnerable children the love and opportunities she once wished she could give.
Today, Sara channels her efforts through the Dreamers program at the M&M Foundation, which provides migrant girls in vulnerable situations with a safe home, food, and access to education. She plays a hands-on role in their daily lives—instilling values of discipline, respect, and solidarity while helping them thrive academically and emotionally. Beyond daily care, Sara has raised funds for school supplies and clothing through solidarity sales, directly improving living conditions. Through her leadership, several migrant girls now live in stability, education, and hope for the future.
