As a student, musician, author, and activist, Shanariha champions children’s rights to education and protection against labor and sexual abuse, integrating her advocacy with her artistic talents. Her achievements include the outreach program “Mimi na Wewe,” which supports families affected by child sexual abuse and brings offenders to justice, and her authorship of “The Ocean Warrior.”

Shanariha has empowered many through her community-based organization, leading to increased reporting and action against sexual violence. Her work is supported by the local government in Mombasa, embodying her message to involve and empower youth in driving change.
