Shivansh, 17, from India, has dedicated his life to advancing equitable education, student participation, and gender equality. Witnessing stark disparities in his family’s home village, he founded Project Catalyst to empower youth voices, mobilizing over 10,000 students across 15 U.S. states and impacting 50,000+ learners globally. He has developed culturally relevant curricula distributed in Ethiopia, Ghana, Brazil, and Colombia, and created the Global Educational Inequality Index to identify gaps in access to learning.
Through workshops, webinars, and partnerships with organizations like Girls Inc., Johnson & Johnson at Georgia Tech, and the World Federation of Engineering Organizations, Shivansh has trained thousands of young changemakers and influenced national and international education policy. His initiatives have reached 100,000+ online participants and 65,000+ in-person, while also distributing 120,000+ educational resources and supporting multimillion-dollar aid programs. By combining advocacy, research, and youth leadership, Shivansh ensures children everywhere can access quality education and contribute meaningfully to societal change.
