Tahsin, 16, is a dedicated environmental activist from Bangladesh, driven by the effects of climate change on children’s health, education, and safety. As coordinator of U-CAN (United Climate Action Network) under SHADOW, he empowers students to understand environmental challenges and actively participate in climate action. Tahsin’s initiatives highlight the connection between children’s rights and a safe, sustainable environment, inspiring youth to become climate leaders in their communities.

His impact spans online and offline efforts. He has organized climate awareness campaigns in 135 schools, educating over 50,000 students, and led the planting of more than 100,000 trees across Bangladesh. Through webinars, workshops, and social media engagement, Tahsin spreads knowledge on environmental issues and children’s rights. By mobilizing communities, schools, and local organizations, he ensures that climate education is integrated into daily life and that young people have the tools to advocate for a greener, healthier future.
