Despite being wheelchair-bound due to paralysis of her lower body, Taqwa has been a fervent advocate for equal rights since she was six years old. Her advocacy focuses primarily on ensuring inclusive education for children who are economically disadvantaged or have disabilities and are not currently enrolled in school. Her efforts have earned her multiple accolades, including the designation as the first-ever Youth Advocate for UNICEF Pakistan. Through her work, Taqwa has significantly influenced public perceptions and policies towards making public spaces more accessible for children with disabilities.
