Taqwa Ahmad is a 13-year-old social activist from Gujranwala, Pakistan. She was born with Spina bifida, an incomplete closing of the backbone and membranes around the spinal cord. As a result, her lower body is paralyzed, and she is confined to a wheelchair. She’s been awarded several Awards and Certificates and regarded as a Peace & Humanity Ambassador in her country. Taqwa provides awareness about climate change, global warming, inclusive education and is the promoter of global peace. She wishes to be a role model for people with special needs by showing the world that physical limitations cannot limit the true potential of an individual.
