Theresa and Lydia-Mary have organised ‘Our Voices’ workshops in their community to spread awareness on child abuse, its adverse effects and the possible ways to end it. They have written a novel called “What Happens”, addressing the issue of child abuse in the Nigerian society. It highlights issues of sexual abuse, the recruitment of children and deprivation of education. In addition, Theresa and Lydia-Mary contributed to the consultation for the creation of the Child Right Protection Act.
