Growing up in Vietnam’s public school system, Uyen Nhu faced limited opportunities for exploration and diverse resources. A life-changing scholarship to an international school exposed her to new methods of learning and inspired her to give back. She soon co-founded LearnThrive, an initiative that produces innovative toolkits in subjects like Math, History, and Social Science, using creative formats such as storytelling, illustrations, and gamification to make learning engaging. Supported by the Global Shapers Community and the World Economic Forum in Vietnam, LearnThrive has secured international recognition, including the IB Global Youth Action Fund, and built partnerships with Khan Academy Vietnam and Volunteer for Education.

Through LearnThrive, Uyen Nhu has reached over 8,000 students with toolkits, engaged 350+ learners in an active online community, and hosted webinars with global experts. Her programs have inspired critical thinking, improved access to quality educational resources, and supported grassroots student-led initiatives across Vietnam. By transforming education into an interactive, empowering experience, Uyen Nhu champions every child’s right to enjoy and thrive in learning.
