Vidya, a 14-year-old from India, is a passionate advocate for digital safety, education, and gender equality. From attending a computer science bootcamp at age eight to becoming the first female student from her school selected for the ATL Marathon 2023–24, Vidya has consistently challenged stereotypes and inspired others. Motivated by the need to make digital spaces safe and accessible, she teaches peers about cybersecurity, mentors younger students, and empowers girls to pursue STEM through the New Delhi chapter of GirlsInSTEM.

Vidya’s initiatives combine creativity, technology, and community engagement. She launched TinkerBuild to help students solve real-world problems, developed DisasterGuard to protect people during natural disasters, and designed GlucoPreserve, an AI-enabled healthcare tool. Online, her campaigns have reached thousands internationally, while offline, she has led workshops, competitions, and mentoring sessions impacting over 500 girls and hundreds of children nationally. Guided by her family and mentors from Atal Innovation Mission, GirlsInSTEM, and TinkerChamps, Vidya is transforming opportunities for girls in science, technology, and education, creating a lasting impact on her community and beyond.
