Vihaan and Nav are brothers. They are trying to reduce the causes of pollution coming from the continuous burning waste on the landfills, to help children suffering from air pollution and to reduce children working in the landfills. In order to do so, the brothers set up the initiative “One Step Greener”.  Through this initiative, they organized free waste segregation trainings and workshops at schools, they developed an educative toolkit which helped people about waste separation, and they did a door-to-door collection service which included a sorting upon the collection service. They found recyclers for various recyclable material. Concerning single use plastics which cannot be recycled, they found projects that would process them. Vihaan and Nav have been invited to speak to children in multiple schools across India and abroad. They inspire and spread the message through prestigious platforms and they are currently working on the creation of an original bilingual curriculum and an activity book to engage young students with sustainability.
