Virginie is a singer and comes from a childhood of facing domestic violence at home. Her life has been about denouncing violence against children from all over the world as she was a victim of her father’s abuse. She uses her songs as a way of spreading awareness. In her songs, she sings against child forced marriages, excision of young girls in the south of Chad and abandoned street children. The media was impressed with her songs and the population is interested in her activities. In the future, she plans to continue her work for children rights and have a world tour where she will spread awareness on child abuse through her songs.
