Vivian, a 13-year-old from Kenya, is a passionate advocate tackling period poverty through her YouTube channel, Vivy Stories. By combining personal storytelling with social activism, she educates audiences, breaks stigmas around menstruation, and sparks meaningful conversations about girls’ health and empowerment. Vivian’s work has been recognized with the 2025 Kenya Girl Up Project Award and a $1,000 grant, which she is using to organize an empowerment day for young girls, providing tools for confidence and leadership. She has also participated in forums such as the Kenya Pre-Summit for the Africa Children Summit and a Danish Embassy screening of Impure, further amplifying her message.
