State of Youth NL

State of Youth was launched in the Netherlands in 2024. As part of the international State of Youth movement, we are building a platform where young people in the Netherlands can regularly share their views on issues that affect their lives. These include topics such as the housing crisis, public transport and mobility, pressure to perform, financial worries and the climate. Through our online youth panel, thousands of young people from across the country share their experiences and what matters to them. State of Youth NL brings these insights together, amplifies their voices and ensures they reach the places where decisions about their future are made.

State of Youth NL not only gives young people a voice, but also a platform for action. Young people can launch their own initiative or join a Chapter, so that together they can make a difference on issues that affect them, based on the Sustainable Development Goals and children’s rights. State of Youth NL offers support in finding funding, contributing ideas for projects, access to our partner network, training and much more! In this way, we ensure that young people are heard in policy and decision-making and that they are supported in taking their own actions.
