Mahir, a 16-year-old from Bangladesh, is a passionate advocate for children’s rights, driven by the injustices he witnessed growing up. Determined to protect children from labor, neglect, and abuse, he has organized community workshops, volunteered at shelters, and partnered with schools to help at-risk children stay in education through tutoring and mentorship. His campaigns for stronger child labor laws and improved child protection services have brought tangible changes, including better support for vulnerable children and the creation of a community fund providing school supplies. Mahir has also built a strong digital presence with more than 10,000 followers, using online campaigns and videos to raise awareness and spark conversations that reach thousands. His leadership has already helped children in his community return to school, find safety, and build brighter futures.
