Owono Mvondo Robert, a 15-year-old from Cameroon, is a passionate climate activist who founded Eco-Écoles Vertes – Green City: Reforestation to Educate. Growing up in a region affected by deforestation and pollution, he has mobilized students, parents, teachers, and local authorities to integrate reforestation into schools and urban spaces, raising awareness about climate justice and sustainable ecosystems. His project combines ecological action with environmental education, transforming schools into greener spaces and inspiring young people to become environmental ambassadors.

Supported by his family, mentors, and local and international environmental organizations, Owono Mvondo Robert has organized workshops, campaigns, and media advocacy to promote sustainability. He has also created a school newspaper to educate students and parents on climate issues and plans to develop a mobile app to track reforestation progress. His dedication not only improves the environment but also empowers children to claim their right to a healthy, sustainable future.
