All 2025 Children’s Peace Prize Nominees

Growing up in a rural Indian community where girls’ education was often dismissed, Rajlaxmi turned her awareness of these injustices into action. She mentors girls in local villages and government schools, teaching academics, life skills, and self-confidence, while raising awareness among families about the importance of education. Rajlaxmi empowers girls to break free from societal constraints like early marriage and school dropouts, helping them envision a future of opportunity.

Beyond education, Rajlaxmi runs an NGO supporting blind artisans, generating income that sustains families and ensures children access basic needs. Her outreach has sparked noticeable increases in school enrollment and inspired broader community conversations about children’s rights. Through direct engagement and community-driven initiatives, Rajlaxmi demonstrates how education, empowerment, and inclusion can transform lives and create lasting change.
