Tanya embodies resilience and leadership, having survived life-threatening illnesses and transformed her journey into a mission to uplift children’s voices. From her barangay to national and regional platforms, she has become a dedicated advocate for child participation, education, and protection. Tanya has organized youth programs, drafted the Filipino Children’s Manifesto, represented children at ASEAN forums, and served as the first child representative in the Council for the Welfare of Children’s Technical Working Group. Her commitment is deeply rooted in compassion and a belief that every child’s voice is essential in shaping a better future.
