All 2025 Children’s Peace Prize Nominees

Treasure, 16, is a committed advocate for children’s rights and gender equality, motivated by her experiences visiting internally displaced persons (IDP) camps and witnessing the challenges faced by vulnerable children. She empowers marginalized youth, particularly girls, to access education, safety, and leadership opportunities. Treasure encourages girls to pursue STEM careers and inspires children to exercise their rights while advocating for policies that protect them from abuse, neglect, and exploitation. Her work bridges the gap between advocacy, education, and practical support for children in vulnerable communities.

Supported by her parents, mentors, and organizations such as the FCT Children’s Parliament and Nigerian Girls’ Parliament, Treasure has built platforms to amplify children’s voices and influence policy. She co-founded the Splendour Child Empowerment Foundation, providing school materials, mentorship, and essential resources to disadvantaged children. Through digital campaigns, STEM workshops, school outreach, and advocacy initiatives, Treasure has improved the safety, education, and well-being of hundreds of children, while mobilizing thousands more to stand up for their rights.
