All 2025 Children’s Peace Prize Nominees

Zohana, a 15-year-old from Bangladesh, is a passionate advocate for climate justice, mental health, and children’s rights. As Vice-Senior Commanding Delegate of the BAFSD Mental Health & Wellbeing Club, she has led workshops, organized poster presentations on world conflicts and SDGs, and written widely on global crises and disability inclusion. Through her creative storytelling—novels, poems, and articles—she amplifies voices from Palestine, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and beyond, weaving narratives of resilience and justice.

Her impact extends online and offline. She has produced audiobooks on mental health, engaged peers in surveys and interviews, and mentored students who went on to win academic competitions. Recognized by her club’s leadership for her contributions, Zohana also uses her writing to break stigmas around mental health, encouraging children to share openly instead of suffering in silence. With her words and actions, she inspires hope, empathy, and awareness, proving that young people can drive change in both their communities and the wider world.
