Sowing the Seeds of Change
With support from the Postcode Loterij, Wilde Ganzen and KidsRights, State of Youth will help hundreds of youth-led organizations grow their impact over the next three years through the Sowing the Seeds of Change programme.
Young people have always been at the forefront of change, and this project proves that when we are given the right tools, resources, and platforms, we step up to make a real impact.
Selin, former State of Youth Youth Board member
Young people around the world are already protecting forests, rivers, wildlife and the places they call home. They see what needs to change and take action today.
With support from the Postcode Loterij, Wilde Ganzen and KidsRights, State of Youth will help hundreds of youth-led organizations grow their impact over the next three years through the Sowing the Seeds of Change programme.
What does that mean in practice?
- 290 youth organizations will receive training, coaching and support through State of Youth
- More than 500 local biodiversity initiatives will take root in communities around the world
- Young environmental changemakers will receive additional funding to scale their ideas
- More than 1,000 endangered animal and plant species will benefit from local action
The facts are clear: young people are already driving change for nature and biodiversity. They bring energy, ideas and solutions. Sowing the Seeds of Change gives them the tools, resources and recognition to go further.
We’re excited to continue supporting the current generation of changemakers and State of Youth Chapters protecting biodiversity across the globe.
A big thank you to the Postcode Loterij for believing in young people as powerful drivers of a greener and more just world. The seeds are already there. Now it’s time to help them grow.
