Arth Bhardwaj
All children around the world deserve to feel secure, heard, and connected to the people around them. With my work, I hope to do just that – to create spaces for all, ensuring that they don’t go a single day starving or unsafe again.

Arth Bhardwaj (17), is from the United States. Growing up in California and visiting India during school breaks, Arth Bhardwaj saw how children faced very different challenges. During the pandemic, he saw young people in the US struggling with digital safety while school closures in India cut many children off from their only reliable source of nutrition: the mid-day meal.
Arth founded Young Leaders in Cybersecurity & AI (YLCA), a global youth-led network that teaches children how to use technology safely and responsibly. Through workshops, ambassador programs and international partnerships, he addresses issues including cyberbullying and online exploitation. He has reached more than 3,000 students through 25+ interactive workshops and built a digital certification program that develops young digital leaders.
Through Hunger to Hope, Arth also supports children attending Anganwadis in India through fundraising, food distribution and health camps. He has raised more than $10,000 and engaged more than 3,500 children across his initiatives. With support from his family and partner organizations, Arth is turning complex challenges around digital safety and basic needs into action that reaches children across borders.
