Geethika Venkatesan

This earth and earth land and earth soil is for every one and every living being, give chance to live, don't destroy in the name of our urban dreams and speedy urban civilization.

Geethika Venkatesan

Geethika Venkatesan (15), is from India. Geethika dreams big: a “Small Girls Green Revolution-II” that fixes what the first Green Revolution missed. While that earlier movement boosted farming output, it also damaged the environment and depleted resources. Geethika wants to correct course, focusing on sustainable practices, eco-friendly alternatives, water conservation, and protecting soil health for future generations.

Once a week, she travels to conduct environmental awareness programs, motivating students, farmers, and communities to tackle pollution and climate change. She runs school programs, public seminars, roadshows, and field visits with rural communities, often without outside support, and reaches young people daily through social media with simple awareness messages. Her message is straightforward: every child in the future needs clean air, food, water, and a healthy ecosystem, so protecting the planet today is protecting children’s rights tomorrow.

The impact has reached far beyond her own community: lakhs of students, farmers, and people across India and other countries have been inspired by her activism. Through sheer persistence and a strong sense of responsibility, Geethika is showing that environmental protection and children’s rights go hand in hand.
