Hannah Park

Hannah Park uses A&H Music to bring live heritage performances to seniors, fostering joy, memory, and connection, and aims to expand this work globally.

Hannah Park

Hannah Park (17) from the United States grew up noticing how easily certain voices got overlooked, especially children who didn’t fit traditional expectations, including those with disabilities. Instead of accepting that as normal, she started asking questions and listening closely to the stories people around her weren’t being heard telling.

In 2024, Hannah founded A&H Music Performance Consulting, a nonprofit using traditional music to support emotional well-being and dignity for seniors in hospices and care facilities. She organized live folk music performances that helped thousands of seniors reconnect with their heritage and feel valued, and built a network of over 600 volunteers across 8 U.S. states, creating opportunities for young people to serve their communities. She also created a platform to document seniors’ personal stories, preserving their voices and cultural histories, and curated a Performance Collection and Art Gallery to share this work more widely.

The impact has been remarkable: Hannah’s initiative reached 7,742 seniors, reducing isolation and bringing joy through music, while engaging 631 youth volunteers in meaningful service. By bridging generations, Hannah is proving that listening to overlooked voices, young and old, can build connection, empathy, and lasting change.
