Ibna Yousuf Al Safin
Every child has the right to learn, play, and grow safely; no one should lose their childhood to labor or hardship, and together we can make a better future for all children.

Ibna Yousuf Al Safin (15), is from Bangladesh. Growing up in Chuadanga, Bangladesh, Ibna watched many of his peers get pushed into hazardous labor instead of school, while he himself had the privilege of an education. That stark contrast stuck with him and shaped his understanding of inequality and children’s rights.
Ibna began conducting awareness campaigns in schools and coaching centers, teaching students about child rights, protection, and the dangers of child labor. He organized seminars and interactive sessions promoting education and discouraging dropout, and partnered with the National Children’s Task Force in Chuadanga to run community campaigns targeting parents and local stakeholders. He engaged directly with vulnerable children and their families, counseling them on the long-term value of education over the short-term income from labor.
Through consistent effort and a strong social media presence sharing his campaigns and initiatives, Ibna has reached a growing audience of peers, parents, and community members. By choosing to speak up rather than stay silent about the inequality he witnessed, Ibna is helping more children in his community choose the classroom over the workplace.
