Kirtan P Patel (16), from United States, is neurodivergent and has experienced ADHD, Autism and Anxiety alongside severe neurodevelopmental delays. His own journey inspired him to help children with learning disabilities and neurodivergence understand their strengths and thrive.

Kirtan organized and led a summer seminar series for children with ADHD and Autism, covering topics including art therapy, school, time management, diet and leadership. He also leads conversations that challenge stigma around ADHD and Autism.

Through his ADHD awareness podcast, Kirtan has spoken with experts and public figures including Stanford University researcher Dr. Glenn Elliott, University of California professor Stephen Hinshaw and NFL linebacker Craig Robertson. He has also taken part in international discussions on neurodivergence and mental health equity, including the UNESCO Learning Planet Festival.

Kirtan started an advocacy petition calling for an end to disparities in ADHD diagnosis and treatment. With strong support from his parents, he continues to turn his own experiences into advocacy for children with learning disabilities and neurodivergence.
