Mohit Raj

Education gives the ultimate power to reshape someone's life, His quote is: "Education is not just a lesson, it is a freedom to change the child's entire world"

Mohit Raj (16), is from India. A 12th Science student from a middle-class family in India, Mohit found his purpose after visiting the Rukhadiya and Popatpara areas of Rajkot, where he saw children forced into labor by extreme poverty. Their struggles reminded him of his own lonely childhood, sparking a deep drive to help.

Mohit started with nothing — just one or two students — and personally walked into the slums to find kids who were out of school, creating a safe space for learning where none existed before. To pull children out of child labor, he sat with families for hours, having the hard conversations needed to change their minds.

Word spread, and what began with just one or two children grew into a daily school now serving more than 60 kids. Mohit teaches for two hours every single day, giving everything he has to make sure these children finally get their right to an education.

With a small but fiercely dedicated circle of support behind him, Mohit has turned his own hardship into hope for dozens of children in his community.
