Abdul Ahad

I exist for the children who feel invisible, because their fight is my life.

Abdul Ahad (16), from Pakistan, lost both parents during childhood and grew up facing grief, financial uncertainty and responsibilities at a young age. Raised by an older sibling who stepped into a parental role, he experienced the importance of care, protection and support. These experiences inspired him to speak up for children’s rights to education, participation, safety and a healthy environment.

Through Teens4Change, Abdul organizes orphanage visits, donation drives and community activities that help marginalized children feel supported and included. He also volunteered with The Citizens Foundation during summer camps, teaching children about their rights, dignity and the importance of education.

Abdul also brings young people’s voices into policy discussions. As a Youth Council Member, he took part in the National Youth Dialogue 2025, sharing youth perspectives on education, climate justice and child wellbeing. Through community activities, he has directly reached more than 2,000 children and young people, while his digital campaigns have reached up to 2,000 people.
