Jaanvi Nawalgaria

“Somewhere in the world, there is a girl who is more talented & hardworking than me. To honor her, follow your dreams and fight for hers to come true.”

Jaanvi Nawalgaria

Jaanvi Nawalgaria (17), is from India. At just 11 years old, Jaanvi was sexually harassed by her swimming coach and didn’t know what to do or who to turn to. That painful experience revealed something bigger to her: countless children around the world face similar helplessness, without the words or confidence to speak up.

Determined to change that, Jaanvi founded Teach for Tomorrow, giving children a safe space to build soft skills and debate everything from everyday issues to pivotal topics, empowering over 1,000 children so far. She also noticed children in a nearby slum struggling just to carry their schoolbooks, and founded Boards4Change to fix it, combining her passion for sustainability with real educational support. Through this initiative, with help from her mother, a trained soft-skills and English educator, she’s provided over 2,500 sustainable school bags and built 80+ vertical libraries across 70+ schools and NGOs.

Together, her two initiatives have reached over 10,000 students, giving them not just physical resources but the confidence and communication skills to advocate for themselves. Jaanvi turned her own painful silence into a platform helping thousands of other children find their voice
