Vinisha Singireddy

Education was meant to be every child’s right, yet it has become a privilege; Let’s rise together and make education accessible to every child across the world!

Vinisha Singireddy

Vinisha’s (17), from the United States, passion for education was sparked by her grandmother, who was denied schooling because she was a girl and married off at 15 for a mere bag of rice, living a difficult life she couldn’t escape. Her grandfather’s courage fighting against the British in India further inspired Vinisha to stand up and fight for change.

Vinisha serves on the International Youth Advisory Board on Scratch, the world’s largest coding platform for children, representing over 135 million young learners across 200+ countries and shaping platform policy. As a Global Campaign for Education Youth Fellow, she’s among the youngest advocates working with global education leaders to push for education equity. She has spoken at major international platforms like the UN’s ECOSOC and the International Youth Conference, representing the US and collaborating with Congress members on educational reform.

Through her nonprofit STEMPOWERed, Vinisha works directly with schools and universities to influence policy benefiting over 200,000 students, while partnering with Girls on Campus to reach over 1.2 million students. Her work extends to India too, with university partnerships in Chennai, Kolkata, and the University of Delhi reaching over 30,000 students—turning personal history into a global mission for educational equity..
