Adnan Ail Haqiqzai

Children are not powerless—they are unheard. When given a voice, they can become powerful agents of change. Quote (1 sentence) “I may not speak perfectly, but my voice carries truth—and I will use it to speak for those the world ignores.”

Adnan Ail Haqiqzai

Adnan Ail Haqiqzai (16), from Afghanistan, now living in New Zealand, lives with Moebius syndrome, a condition that affects facial expression, speech clarity and mobility. Despite these daily barriers, he continues to speak up for children’s rights and humanitarian issues around the world.

Adnan founded and leads a youth-driven digital platform where he creates accessible content about conflict, inequality and the experiences of children in places such as Sudan and Afghanistan. He also uses his own experience with disability to challenge stigma and encourage inclusion and confidence among others facing similar barriers.

His message is reaching young people online. Adnan has built an audience of around 1,000 followers, with his content reaching several thousand more through shares and interactions. Through writing, speaking and digital advocacy, he encourages young people to think critically, show empathy and take social responsibility. He continues this work while balancing his studies and the challenges of living with a disability.
