Ahamed Ibny Ruhit (17), from Bangladesh, grew up in Patuakhali, where students had limited access to resources for science and technology projects. After moving on to study at Adamjee Cantonment College, he saw an opportunity to help other young people discover what they could create.
He founded Inno Expo GL, a space where children can develop science projects with support from mentors, basic materials and hands-on practice, both online and in person. Ahamed also visits schools across Patuakhali District to guide students and organizes workshops and science fairs, helping rural students prepare to compete at the national level.
His work has reached around 2,000 students through in-person sessions. By bringing mentorship, materials and practical learning closer to students in rural communities, Ahamed is helping more young people turn their ideas into science projects and giving them opportunities to learn, experiment and grow.
