Assane Faye and Ousseynou Faye
Our future depends on the choices we make today—let's protect our planet, educate our children, and stand up for every child's right to a safe and sustainable world.

Ousseynou Faye (15) and Assane Faye, are from Senegal. The two twin brothers grew up in Kénoa, Ziguinchor, Senegal, facing challenges like climate change, limited education, and gaps in child protection. Rather than accept those struggles as unchangeable, the twins decided to act together.
Ousseynou and Assane organized awareness campaigns to educate families and children about their rights, focusing especially on preventing child abuse and neglect and building safe home environments. Working closely with local organizations, they led workshops helping community members recognize signs of abuse and understand child protection laws. They also led a youth group offering peer support, giving children a safe space to talk through personal or family struggles.
Their leadership extends to environmental action too — their first tree planting campaign brought together over 150 community members, including children, parents, and local leaders. Their educational videos on child protection and climate justice have reached wide audiences online, with one video on child rights gaining over 2,000 views.
Together, the twin brothers are proving that real community change often starts with two determined voices working as one.
