Kakama Emmanuel Godfrey
Fighting about the rights of children with disabilities especially downs syndrome and Autism.

Kakama Emmanuel Godfrey (13), is a young changemaker from Uganda. His sister, Abaasa Faith, has Down syndrome and was severely beaten by a school matron after she urinated in bed. Her experience inspired Emmanuel to help children and parents understand their rights.
Emmanuel raises awareness about the dangers of child labor and speaks up for the rights of children with disabilities. He also highlights progress that helps children stay healthy and in school, including government education programs, vaccination programs and healthcare in local communities.
With support from his parents, especially in finding information about children’s rights, Emmanuel keeps learning and sharing what he discovers. He also surprised many people with his active role in a social media production team after his mother won Harvest Money competitions under New Vision.
At just 13, Emmanuel is already using his voice to help children understand their rights and stand up for themselves..
